April 2025 brings a powerful lineup of product updates from SHOPLINE designed to help merchants streamline operations, engage customers more effectively, and scale across channels and markets. From smarter CRM tools like SmartPush discount pop-ups to enhanced POS email content, SMS opt-ins, and improved inventory syncing with Shopee, this month’s updates are built to improve efficiency, customer experience, and sales performance.

CRM & MULTICHANNEL ENHANCEMENTS

1. Seamless Discount Pop-ups from Email to Online Store

Description:

SmartPush allows merchants to link discount codes in emails directly to store pages, where the discount automatically pops up when customers land—making it easy for customers to copy and use the code instantly. Whether it’s for abandoned cart emails or seasonal campaigns, this seamless flow reduces friction at checkout and boosts sales. Merchants can customize the pop-up's look, behavior, and timing, and link it to any store or landing page for a smooth shopping experience.

Feature: SmartPush - Discount Pop-Ups

Use Case:

A merchant sends a promotional email with a 10% discount. When the customer clicks the discount button, they’re instantly directed to the store with a pre-filled pop-up displaying the discount code, ready to use. This intuitive process speeds up checkout and reduces drop-off.

POS & ERP ENHANCEMENTS

1. Enhanced POS Invoice Email Content

Description:

We’ve enhanced the POS invoice email format to include custom logo support and refined content for improved clarity, professionalism, and brand recognition. The updated subject line and content increase readability, ensuring a more professional customer experience and higher open rates.

⚠️ Limitations

  1. Only the store logo can be displayed in the e-receipt. Custom or non-store logos are not supported at this time.

  2. If no logo is set up in the Basic Settings, the receipt email will be sent without a logo.

Feature: Point-of-Sale (POS) App - Receipts

Use Case:

A franchise customizes the POS receipt emails with logos for each regional branch, reinforcing localized branding and improving brand recognition.

2. Collect SMS Opt-ins Seamlessly In-Store and Online

Description: 

Previously, only email marketing subscriptions were supported in SHOPLINE's POS system. Now, SMS marketing subscription support has been added to POS customer profiles, mirroring the Admin panel’s capabilities. This update ensures consistent subscription flows across both in-store and online channels, expanding marketing reach beyond email and increasing customer engagement.

Use Case: 

A chain store captures consistent marketing opt-ins across physical and digital touchpoints, streamlining campaign targeting and ensuring compliance, leading to more effective SMS marketing and increased conversions.

3. Optimized Inventory Management with Validation & Improved Admin Controls

Description:

The Smart Inventory Management App now offers enhanced product sync and validation between Shopee and SHOPLINE, improving inventory control and multi-channel coordination. This feature boosts operational efficiency, reduces stock discrepancies, and eliminates manual corrections.

Use Case:

An operations team spends less time fixing stock mismatches, allowing them to focus more on growth activities and improving overall business efficiency.

1. Mega Menu App Enables Multi-Market Configuration

Description:
The Mega Menu App now allows merchants to configure menus for different markets, including localized languages and seasonal preferences. This enables merchants to offer tailored navigation experiences, improving user experience and boosting conversion rates.

Use Case:

A home and garden merchant selling in the UK and Australia customizes their Mega Menu to suit regional needs. In the UK, categories like "Indoor Heating Solutions" and "Autumn Garden Prep" appear during colder months, while in Australia, the focus shifts to "Outdoor Furniture" and "BBQ Essentials" for the summer season. This tailored approach enhances customer engagement by offering a more relevant shopping experience.

2. Partner Portal Adds Webhook Subscription Instructions 

Description:

SHOPLINE’s Partner Portal now includes clear instructions to support the new API-based Webhook subscription method, introduced in version v20240601. This guidance helps developers transition smoothly to the updated process and reduces setup complexity.

Use Case:

A third-party app developer switches to the new API-based Webhook subscription method to manage endpoints programmatically. With the Partner Portal's added instructions, the team adapts quickly—reducing setup time and streamlining app integration workflows.
